Success at the Toy Drive!!!!!

Lady Patricia Wideman organized a wonderful toy drive in December. Our community is blessed to have you in it!

Ladies Let's B.E.R.E.A.L's 7th Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway was a huge success! We serviced over 300 children over 3 days with toys, diapers, and food. People kept offering us more toys and other items after our initial giveaway Monday, December 19. We were able to connect with Kaleida Health and OHC to help some of their clients. I am grateful for our sponsors the African American Cultural Center, PEF Union (Michele Grier Silsby), and Ta'Ria Wideman from The Buffalo Enlightment. Thank You to our supporting contributors LaSonya Spearman from Wound of a Woman, Cynthia Benning from the Upper Room Church), Bishop Michael and Joyce Badger from Bethesda World Harvest International Church, Kimberley Marie, Wave Antiviolence, Lillie M Mccall Baker, Penny Beckham, and Stephanie Insalaco, Samuel Insalaco, Renee Benning, New Direction ChristianFellowship, employees of Region 3, NLRB, and Vallana Harris. A Special Thank You to Tammy Curry for holding down registration and check in, Santa Michael McKnight and DJ Rashad KingShad Howard, and our carolers Yao Kahlil Jaimier Hennegan, Rosalyn Dixon Cheatom, all of our volunteers (especially my lyft driver Angelica) and last but not least Ladies Let's B.E.R.E.A.L Fellowship Buffalo team for helping to make this event a great succes. This was one for the books. I am excited to see what will happen next year. Bigger and better.
